Bindi qualified from University of Wales College of Medicine (Cardiff) in 2001. She then worked in general practice in London and Hertfordshire. She became the Principal Dental Surgeon of Ashwell Dental Surgery in October 2004 and is completed her MFGDP qualification in November 2007.

Bindi is very passionate about dentistry and has the constant desire and drive to learn new and exciting techniques. She enjoys working with nervous patients and children helping them to reduce their anxiety.

As Ashwell Dental Surgery’s reputation for quality care grew, in 2006 she expanded the practice from two surgeries to four in order to meet demand.

Vishal graduated in Dental Surgery at Cardiff University in 2010 and in 2012 gained a Membership to the Joint Dental Faculties from the Royal College of Surgeons. He has spent 2 years at the University of Manchester and trained under some of the country’s leading surgeons, where he went on to obtained a Master’s Degree in Dental Implantology.

Over the last few years he has developed an extensive portfolio in dental implant placement and restoration, achieving excellent dental implant success rates. He is able to offer advanced procedures to include bone grafting, sinus augmentation and full mouth implant rehabilitation.

Vishal is an enthusiastic and meticulous surgeon. He finds his job very rewarding and thrives to provide his patients with comprehensive evidence based treatment. He enjoys treatment planning and problem-solving, to help patients with difficult requirements. He is able to share his knowledge and takes an active role, mentoring colleagues in all aspects of dental implantology.

Adesh graduated from CardiffUniversity in 2013 with Honours. Since then he has carried out several training posts across hospitals in London and South West England which helped develop his passion for the specialty of oral surgery.

He currently works at the prestigious Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals in the Department of Oral Surgery and has also worked in several practices across south London and the KSS region providing minor oral surgery. He has a passion for teaching and is heavily involved in the training of dental core trainees and postgraduate students.

Adesh is competent in a variety of oral surgery procedures with a special interest in the removal of impacted wisdom teeth. He is also accredited to provide conscious sedation for nervous patients. He aims to bring hospital standard specialist dentistry into the dental practice environment.

Radhika graduated from the University of Bristol with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Radhika has treated patients with a wide range of needs in general dentistry and hospital settings. Her holistic treatment approach aims to promote general wellbeing in addition to dental health.

She understands that the dental visit can be daunting for some and is committed to creating a comfortable atmosphere, particularly for those with dental anxiety. She especially enjoys treating children and believes providing a positive experience is essential to their oral health journey.

Outside of work, she attends courses on various aspects of dentistry, fuelled by the passion to keep giving the best possible care to her patients. She spends her spare time exploring woodlands, painting and cross-stitching.

Meet Dr. Priyanka, our esteemed dentist with over a decade of experience and a distinguished academic background, brings unparalleled expertise and a passion for oral

health to every patient interaction. Graduating as a gold medallist in periodontics, Dr. Priyanka's commitment to excellence was evident from the start. After honing her skills in various dental settings, she pursued advanced training, earning her Master's degree in Periodontology. Her dedication to staying at the forefront of her field led her to successfully clear the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE) in 2023, cementing her status as a registered dentist with the General Dental Council (GDC).

Dr. Priyanka's approach to dentistry is characterized by precision, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve her patients' quality of life. Patients benefit from her

meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to their well-being.

Beyond the dental chair, a lover of travel and exploration, she finds joy in discovering new cultures and cuisines from around the globe. This zest for life and curiosity

enriches her approach to dentistry, infusing each patient's interaction with warmth, understanding, and a personalized touch.

Chris originally trained as a doctor, completing his medical degree at University of Leicester in 2017. He worked across a number of medical and surgical specialties, gaining an improved understanding of providing holistic healthcare.

Chris loves teaching, and completed a Diploma in Medical Education from the University of Nottingham while working in a teaching role for medical students.

Wanting to become a Maxillofacial surgeon, Chris achieved his Membership into the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2021 and undertook a dental degree at King's College London. He soon discovered a passion for dentistry and chose instead to make it his career. He enjoys bringing his broad experience of healthcare to his new role and interacting with patients in a welcoming and collaborative way.

Marie trained as a dental nurse at University College Hospital qualifying in 1986. As a Dental Nurse she worked in both hospital and general practice. She trained as a Dental Hygienist at Kings College Hospital qualifying in 1993.

She joined us at Ashwell in October 2008 and has been an integral part of the team ever since.

Marie likes to try to tailor her treatment to each individual's needs and enjoys working with children, helping nervous patients and treating complex cases. 

Hema is a Dental Hygienist, qualifying from King’s College Hospital, London, in 2012. She joined the dental world in 2002,working her way through the ranks, becoming a qualified dental assistant in 2006.

With over 20 years in dentistry, she has learnt from every single patient….offering a tailor-made service, bespoke treatments with no judgement or reprimanding. Appreciating all walks of life and their individual needs, addressing concerns and especially tackling and easing their fears. She offers a calming, reassuring, as well as entertaining clinician atmosphere, building confidence, trust and friendship. This applies for both adults and children alike.

She strives to work alongside her patients in a collaborative effort to help achieve not only a healthy, confident smile, but sustainable overall health. She will design a home care strategy to help you maintain your dental health between professional cleanings.

Treatment will consist of getting to know you and how you manage your regime. She will assess your oral health, perform treatments such as PMPR – professional mechanical plaque removal (scale and polish), measurements of the bone levels (6-point pocket charting) cleaning of the roots (root surface debridement), stain removal (air polishing). You will always know what she is doing!

All her treatments will be in coherence with the updated BSPS3 guidelines, in which she takes pride in ensuring she is in adherence to updated evidence-based practice.

Being a mother and a wife, she appreciates the daily struggles of life and will support your dental journey.

She loves music, attending concerts and festivals. She enjoys travelling and most importantly spending quality time with her young family.

Megan joined us at Ashwell Dental Surgery in January 2020. She chose to pursue a career in Dental Nursing as she enjoys caring and interacting with the general public.

‍

Outside of work Megan likes socialising with friends and baking cakes.

Darcy started at Ashwell Dental Surgery in May 2022. She is currently studying for her masters in Forensic Psychology and hopes to one day help victims of crime. She enjoys working as a receptionist as she loves to talk to people and takes this as the perfect opportunity to do that.

Out of work she enjoys spending time with friends, family and her dog; and also loves to visit new places. 

Charlotte finished university in May 2023 graduating with a Bachelors of Arts degree. She went back to work in retail and enjoyed the customer service experience.

She has now joined us a trainee dental nurse and is currently enjoying meeting new patients and learning how to become a dental nurse.

In her free time is enjoys practicing photography and watching films with friends and family.

After finishing college and getting her A level equivalent degree in architecture, she took a gap year to travel and have a part time job in retail. She has always been interested in the healthcare sector and decided she wanted to take the opportunity to become a dental nurse. She has a passion for caring for people and animals.

In her spare time she enjoys going on walks, seeing her friends & family and looking after her pets.
